Where it started

The gym that started UFC's Malcolm "The Machine" Wellmaker

Augusta's own Malcolm Wellmaker first stepped onto our mats with no combat-sports background — and from that start built a career all the way to the UFC. He's since taken his pro camp to a major fight team, but his mixed martial arts journey began right here. The same coaching and fight family that helped launch a UFC fighter is ready for you.

Every fighter starts somewhere. Yours could start here.

Before your first class

Are the first 3 classes really free?

Yes. New students can attend their first three classes free before choosing a membership.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Most of our students walk in with zero background. Every class has options for total beginners, and our coaches look after you from your very first minute on the mat.

Do I need to be in shape?

No. You don't need to get in shape before you start — training is how you get there. Begin at your own pace, take breaks when you need them and build your strength, stamina and confidence one class at a time.

How old does my child need to be?

Our kids classes welcome ages 4–15, with a different training focus throughout the week.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable workout clothes and a water bottle are perfect for your first class. We'll guide you on any gear you need as you keep training.

Do I have to fight or compete?

Never. Plenty of our students train purely for fitness, confidence and self-defense. Competing is an option for those who want it — including a path to our fight team — but it's entirely up to you.

How do I get started?

Message us on Facebook or Instagram, email us, or give us a call. Tell us a little about who's training and your goals, and we'll get you booked into a class.

Your first 3 classes are free

Stop in during class hours, or reach out and we'll set you up. We can't wait to meet you on the mat.
